1. Is there any link to pic of all (or most of them, perhaps) damascus pattern?
2. Is there an easy way to tell if it's a normal damasucs or it's a stainless damascus?

In most cases as far as stainless damascus goes the maker will tell you up front. Most use others stainless Damascus such as Mike Walkers so they are pretty upfront regarding whose billets they are using. Patterns are as plentiful and distinct as are those forging it from the simple to mosaic with words or faces hammered in.

ed caffrey has pictures of a bunch of different types of damascus on his website, as well as some good links. i don't know it offhand but someone will post it soon.
