Man alive! Has Puma of Solingen fallen into the same category of those other companies that have their knives made everywhere but where the company itself is based?

I collected Puma's in the '80's/early '90's, and man has stuff changed! Are they still making the high-end pieces like the Defender and the Cougar? If they've switched to all this low-end laser-cut stuff, then I'm guessing my mint-in-box White Hunter's, Bowies, Outdoor's, and the like are gonna be worth hanging onto. It seemed like they never really appreciated in value, but now I don't know!

Any thoughts? Thanks.

Professor.

Puma still makes the White Hunter and many of the other knives they have made for years. It does look as if they are getting some of their knives made in other countries. I do not know how this affects the quality, but I think the German made knives will be worth more as time goes by.

I also noticed that the new knives have done away with the guards!
While I have never collected any Puma's, they were interesting knives.- Dick
