:( what did I do wrong?

Come to think of it, I haven't used it all week... Maybe it's just complaining about the lack of work.

should come right off, but INFI is not rust proof, you do have to take some care of them if you want them to stay shiny :)
I never do anything to my users but use them :)

If you would like, please contact the office at (419)923-6471 and we will fix the issue for you, no problem.

Nah, its not a problem. It just kinda surprised me, what with all the legends of INFI being rust proof. ;)

I do live in some wetlands, so it kinda makes sense that my blades would try this.

Stropping with a wax based compound keeps them shiny too, a lot more so than I would have guessed.

It's definitely not a stainless... I've had mine rust in small amounts. The only one that had any significant rust was a CF BWM that I put away very dirt and wet, and even that was just surface rust. No pitting.

I wonder if you have a little lingering decarb right at the edge of the coating? Not sure if that's possible with how the TGLB is finished, but it's a thought. Would explain easier rusting.

Well on a serious note. Did you store it wet perhaps? Maybe the inside of your sheath is a bit moist?

I live in salty swamp and never apply anything to my Infi, just keep them dry.

But yea that will come right off with some use or even a bit of love from an oiled rag, just be careful not to slice your arm off. :D:p
