I've been out of the knife world for coming up on two months now. All I've gotten recently is a Boker Urban that I promptly disassembled and lost 8 of the tiniest bearings I've ever seen in my life, and then I got a Lansky Willumsen Responder. Other'n that, I haven't kept up on the news or releases or anything.

Now, I'm clearing house to move back to OK because Denver is insanely expensive and I almost died last winter from frostbite.

What have I missed? News about members? Companies? Upcoming releases? New releases? Incredible occurrences? Interesting developments?

Honestly, you know something I'm a little too excited about?
5.5" blade length limit. Denver is where I found out that 3.5" is fine but insufficient.

Yup. Blade Show exclusive as far as I know, but I'm sure some will leak out onto the secondary market if nothing else. They also upgraded from the crappy teflon coating to a proper DLC.

Sheesh! Makes me want to run right out and buy one. Sad thing is, there doesn't seem to be much in the way of lightweight EDC announcements from any of the major manufacturers. I even tried to set up a thread to capture information from the Show on lightweight knives and there isn't much coming in . . . at least not yet.
