What did you ask for this year?

another knife year like this one has been. Short list in 2002: Buck 119centenial w/ palmwood handle, Buck 110 centennial w/ charcoal Diamondwood handle, Chris Reeve Sebenza and Shadow III. I'm very lucky to have a supportive wife who lets me and encourages my hobbie.
Happy holidays.

This is the first year I actually asked for specific things because I wanted to make this a Knife-y X-mas.

I asked my Dad for a Greco Folder. I got him the SOG Mini X-Ray he has been pining over.

My mom used the Jedi mind-trick on someone who is a knife dealer and she is getting me a Talonite CUDA EDC at cost. The force is strong with her. I have ordered her a Gold TiNi SOG Crosscut for her keychain. I would like to get it engraved
but might not have time...maybe after the fact.

Those are the only things I asked for. But I am getting everyone knives or multitools this year.

Recieving in the next 2 weeks...

*3* Salsas (Tan, Green, Blue... all CE)
SE Endura FRN
PE Meerkat Navigator-style

1 of the Salsas will be going to my dad, and I'm thinking of giving my Merlin away... just do a draw or contest on the spyderco home forum...

I had a pretty darn good knife year, although by thebadguy's tag line, I'd be lucky to keep up with his month! I got a Socom Elite, a Lile Combat (Lile Knives, not the new chinese stuff), a couple Benchmade 941s; 941D2CF & 941BC1 and an Elishewitz Persian with CF inlays and a mono lock (frame lock).

So all I asked for in the knife realm was a Victorinox Cybertool 29.

There were a couple other non knife related higher end things on the list though. We'll see what the wife comes through with. She generally treats me pretty well as evidenced by the new Kahr pistol that just arrived as our anniversary present!

We try to take good care of each other. She got a new Movado for the same occasion..:)

Just last week I stopped off at the local Sears & sat down with Santa; told him if he had any 'pull' with Bruce Evans I'd like one of his Bowies.:D Looks like Santa is going to come through with the goods! Should be under the Christmas tree for Christmas morning!:D

I asked Santa for a serrated Police model, and Santa (AKA: Allen E. Treat) already delivered a fully-serrated G-10 model to me.:D.

On the other-hand, there is this NICE Citizen Chronograph Eco-Drive watch that I've had my eye on...(IF only I can convince my wife that I REALLY NEED this watch, that I've been REALLY "good" this year, and that we have enough credit left on our Visa credit-card...:D.).

I asked santa for several spydie kitchen knives and put a bug in my wifes ear in hopes that I will be able to replace my stolen SOCOM soon.

well Ive allready got one, but I asked for another rainbow leek, and a padded knife case from Brigade quartermaster. :)

I asked Santa back in September for a large model 2 framelock from Mike Obenauf. Not too many of you actually knew that Mike IS Santa Claus! Mi.......uh Santa Claus is going to come through!

well I asked santa years ago for an elishewitz and he's finally coming through this year. I'm hoping santa delivers my package soon. As for my parents, i'm trying to decide what to ask them for, i've been wanting a mike snody for a while now, so we'll see.

The same thing I ask for every year. A Fowler Pronghorn. I wonder why the wife doesn't just go out and pick one up for me?

I asked Santa for a TNT, but he said NO!!!!

He can no longer accept wishes from Jews [backlog issues]

:p :p

I just order'd from Ragnar Forge a Leuku with just slightly over a 7" blade of carbon steel and a matching Lapland Puuko with a blade of just about 4". These are from my wife. So I am a happy camper. Also bought myself a CS Pro Lite 4" drop point folder just cause they are on sale at Botach supply.(30 bucks +shipping). I also have a knife coming that I have wanted for a good long time and that is a BM Osbourne 940. I also have coming back from trade a 710 and a new Paragon XO Lite with mirror polished blade. Happy Holidays and keep'em sharp

I asked for a CRKT M16 12LE and a Spyderco Sharpmaker.

Since my wife used my Delica the other day and commented on how dull it was I guess I'm a shoe in for the Sharpmaker. :D
