Still trying to make the plunge and buy a BK-9 . Was trying to think of what I really needed it to cut.

I mean besides fighting off Zombies and cutting open watermelons.:D Please post some pictures of your 9

at work.

Thanks

Jeff

if by "today" you mean "within the past 24 hours" then for me it was carving up the whole roasted chicken for last night's dinner when it came out of the oven. :-D

I just have a few shots after I chopped down a little Red Bud tree that had died in my front yard.

Sweet shots Warrior. What's funny is that since getting the 9, finding a dead tree in my yard that needs to get chopped down would be a birthday present. I love finding excuses to use this thing haha. That could be because I live in the city and don't have a lot of every day reasons to use a 9...

LOL.... sorry man didn't think to take a pic. Someone needs to invent a digital camera attachment for Beckers that takes a photo every time you use it.... :D

Warrior Thanks for the pic's of your BK-9 working.

JWL , no problem , that will be a app on the new iphone soon.:D

Maybe the Goose , guy will show us some of his with the hump removed.

I can arrange that...will be ''posed'' but I chopped a sapling down and into lil bits to test my micarta comfort the other day...gimme a minute

My machax batoned by bk9. But its cool it was consensual and I think they may go steady.

That looks great Thrillbilly, I guess if you got a 9 then you don't need a ax.
So you like the micarta grips then?

Clich, Thanks.

Please keep them coming .

The 9 will indeed go thru some wood...not gonna replace my axes...but will more then suffice in a pinch! I love the micarta...I made these, so Im still sanding/shaping them slowly...testing it and then shaping some more. Trying to get them Juuuuuuust right.

It wasnt today but i cut the ice with the guy that owns this plane. Btw, why do you just eat the fish heads?

GingivitisKahn, I like you pictures , you used your BT-9 for something other than cutting wood. Good job and

thanks for posting.
Tommythewho, Nice scales on that one.

Thanks guys
Jeff

I believe as Uncle Weirdbeard would call it, that is a "maul". (Fancy pants baton!)

Thrill, are you bringing that BK9 to the gathering? I am curious as to how that flat micarta grip feels vs the usual contoured Becker grip. It is like an ESEE in regards to the shape of the handle scales.

I thought he had the regular micarta grips on it?
