Forget shopping. I took the little guy shooting! Beretta CX4 - Storm and Glock 19.
He handled himself pretty well for only ever shooting .22 rounds before today.

One thing is for sure, folks at the shooting range are much friendlier than at the shopping center.

Did not get around to shooting as I planned but did go to two gunships with my Grandpa and uncle, we had a good time checking out prices as tomorrow we will most likely make a few purchases at the gunshow. I found an AR I would like at a good price.

Took the family for a scenic drive over Johnson Mesa and had a snowball fight. They ganged up on me. :grumpy:

Didn't come within 90 miles of a shopping center. :D

I went for a hike and took some photos. I didn't spend a dime.

Went and helped my son and two Grandsons field dress and drag out a deer. Quality family time in the woods! Lots more fun than shopping!

I went to Lowes to get Torx bits. Found a CRKT ripple. Then when Wally World returned to normal bagged a Kershaw Cryo.

Helped a friend with his Studebaker resto project. Came home to find a CQC-7 in the mailbox. Stayed away from any and all shopping type places. Was a good day :)

Oops, I actually did go shopping, had to run into the store and buy ear plugs on the way to the shooting range.

Picked up a camo fleece vest for Jake, my Llewellin Setter and bought his heartworm med refill. Meds were full price but the vest was half off today. No crowds. Never are in a town of 2,346 people. Oh, and I delivered more of my venison jerky to a hunting buddy. I expect a brace of ducks to breast in the next day or so.

Hunted all day!! Bagged a decent buck, hiked from approx 10-230pm. Bagged a doe around 5:15. Went and hady favorite man food (as the wife is out of town shopping). Got back to the house about 9:45. Watched 30 minutes of gold rush and decided I was too tired to sit down so now I'm laying in bed barely able to keeps eyes open! Any day that I spend less than an hour inside the house and HAVE to us a knife twice out of necessity is a great day!

The wife and I took in a movie in the late afternoon. Ran into friends at the theater and invited them over for leftovers.

black friday =

I took a walk with my family and made shepherd's pie for dinner. Win.

went 4x4ing, wrestled in the sand dunes, drank beer, talked about military aircraft with a fighter pilot friend, played with my izula II and spyderco domino, shot my ruger mk III and XD .45, and ate IN-N-OUT

Drove 14 hours from Denver to central Texas after a nice Thanksgiving visit to my wife's family in Colorado.

Had dinner with her almost 97 year-old father several days during the week and took one of her daughters (30 something years old) shooting for the first time on Wednesday. Managed to not get any speeding tickets on the way home, but at least a dozen other folks were not so lucky. Did get pulled over south of Fort Worth for burned out license plate light, but got a warning. Light bulbs replaced today after church...
