I know that plenty of people have multiple customized Beckers on here. I would like to see photos of your first. It is likely to be your first attempt at customizing the brand, and I am curious how they ended up.

Feel free to add a photo of your most recent to show your progress and skills gained.

I will be posting mine in an edit when this revision of it is finished.

Stripped my BK2 and forced a patina on it with vinegar.

My second 7 (keeping the first one stock)...deramped,gunblued,tommythewho scales, rounded the spine a bit...this one lives in my jeep.

wayned, stripped, blued, acid etch, carved grip, kydex & leather sheath. First modded Becker and to me, still the best :D

Star Wars mods for the 10 and 7. More work on the 10 (carved & painted handle, wayned - the modified ramp was leveled, no photo yet- blued, etched, kydex insert for the stock sheath), I focused more on the sheath for the 7 with just a wayne/jimping, carved/painted handle and a choil to the blade

and last modded was this 11, made it a swedged clip recurve, slimmed the handle, wiped with acid and made a kydex sheath. Currently fixed to my sling pack, need to take a photo of that setup

Zulu: That sheath turned out great, mind if I ask about its origins?

That Ogre quote and pic had me cracking up... at 1:36 am... with my 3 week old daughter sleeping less than 10' from me...

which one?

The kydex and leather 9.

Nice submissions. Broad spectrum so far.

My first Becker, a Bk10, aka Skunk. Electro-etched the logos, and stripped the blade. Cut out white liners from an old DVD case. Sanded the grivory and added stainless hardware. Forced a patina then let it evolve by using the heck out of it. And my wife added the "tail". Love my first modded Becker

well, I had done several kydex sheaths already, but realized a big knife needed something bigger than a tek-lok. It was my first leather "frog", and I ground a small piece of steel where I etched my "mark", a stylized double P, and attached it to the leather. Later I added a leather pouch under it that holds an altoids survival tin and ferro.

My 16 came Fisked and Clich'd. I didn't want to eat anything cut with gun blue, so I sanded it down and patina'd it.
Then I stippled the scales.

A little later, I made my first set of mycarta scales.

The 5, 15 and trailing-point 11 are more recent.

These are the first modded Beckers I did. There are more in the Becker pages. I have taken a break for a while and will be back completing all the Becker projects that are now on hold.

Used it! I don't really get into the "Modding" thing a whole lot. I like using knives. I have a few that have been "personalized" but I don't have the skill set required to do mods, and I don't like the look of a stripped blade unless it's been polished.
