What did you do with your Spyderco today?

I did a quick search and couldn't find another thread like this. If I am duplicating an existing effort, someone let me know and I'll lock it up...

There's a thread like this on one of the other subgroups I frequent and it is often, simultaneously, informative and entertaining.

The premise is simple: write a short synopsis about what you did with one of your Spydies that day (pics of it in action are a plus if you've got 'em!). Tell us which blade you were using and how it made your task easier or your life just plain better for a few minutes.

Feel free to comment on all the cool things fellow Spyderco enthusiasts are doing with their knives, too!

Enjoy!

It was relatively simple task for my PM2 today: slicing a long strip of cardboard off a larger piece to knock down some spider webs across our front walk.

We've actually started seeing more spiders around the house since my Spydercos started showing up...coincidence? :-O

Got back from Vegas in the wee hours of this morning and was happy to have my whole range of Spydercos to choose from for the day. Carried my Titanium Delica this morning, and when I went to repair the water system we have for the cows I took a number of Spydercos with me. I didn't need to take as many as I did, but the light was good for pictures so I thought I'd indulge (Sadly only a few of the pictures actually turned out okay). Carried the Delica as well because I had it with me earlier this morning.

Used my delica at work for cutting cardboard into notepads and plastic off off a few pallets. Switched to a squeak when I got home and used that to cut open my ups box containing my new Spyderco mule. Carried My paramilitary when I went out tonight and used that to lance what I believe is a spider bite on my right calf after I got home from my girlfriend's.

I fondled it since its my newest knife and first step to rebuilding my spyderco collection after selling it off. Pictures to be posted asap but its a MINT blue Lil Matriarch PE!

Used my Delica 4 FFG to open a package containing my new Manix 2 S30V. Then spent most of day playing with the Manix :)

I'm so boring. I used the CF Caly 3 to open an individually-wrapped DVD in a jewel case so I could use the jewel case to lend a Focus T25 DVD to my workout buddy because I am too sick to work out today. :-(

But the day's not over yet!

Opened two sacks of feed with my Manix2 L/W. Then used it to slice up a tomato for my sandwich. Yeah I live a real exciting life.:)

Used my Manix 2 to open a package containing my new Tenacious. I just love using a Spyderco to open up another Spyderco.

Used my Southard to open a water pump box for the Hot Rod.. John

I was measuring my Spyderco DICE; a smaller brother of the Domino.
The grip, at 4.1 inches, allows a full-hand grip, while the excellent CTS-XHP blade is just 2.5", which fits a lot of casual (and legal) needs just fine.
