What did you use your CPK for today?

I want to live vicariously through you guys right now.

My wife is a little bit on what I guess I would call modified bed rest, and we have an extremely adventurous two and a half year old so I can't go far. Kicking around the yard today with my son, doing some pruning in the garden and the like I was hoping to use a FK I bought a dangler for.

However rodriguez now has that FK that was going to be my user, and I still don't have an EDC, so no CPK for this guy.

I had to resort to my Sebenza 25 which still smells like day old hate after the carpet incident, so I don't want to post any pics of it.

So please guys, share your glory with the forum....

What did you use your CPK for today?

After I pillow fought a couple of dime+ playmates after we woke up earlier on, I had to resort to chasing them outta house using my CPK-LC, because they were seriously becoming like stage 5 clingers! :p

Well it's only 6.30am here so nothing, yet. Yesterday i batoned some kinding for a little fire out back with some mates and cracked open a few beers with my trusty FK :) Review coming soon - got plenty of use with it now so i'm all good to start filming

Not going to use any of my CPKs, unless in an emergency, till I get an extra backup for each one! Are you kidding me?!

"One of everything" used to be my motto when it came to CPK's - all of them to go unused - but I'm beginning to think maybe I outta grab a back-up #2 for each model, if and when I run across one in the open field so I can mess around with 'em. One set must remain intact, but anything after that, screw living viariously! Damn, shoulda kept my duplicates and triplicates.

And at least I have one that I use every day, actually probably every hour at least - one designed to simply kill - or survive as my hourly eye-candy fix:

EDIT: Whenever I post an image of the dagger, I'm compelled to mention that I have never seen a more PERFECTLY symmetrical dagger in all my years of collecting, thanks, of course, in large part to the process.

This thread is useless without pics!

In particular from you Casino!

I'm sure that a few of us on here wished we had gotten to know you a couple of years back when you were generously giving away your duplicates! Sorry for lifting up an old wound scab!

Well, I was having a rather mellow day today, Bob. Then you had to go and post that. :D Now I need nitro glycerine for my heart palpitations and some way to burn off this adrenaline dump. Mike

Actually, they hit Blade Forums for sale and were gone, poof. But only like maybe 8 months ago, the butterscotch and the edge-cut antique brown micarta field knives. The others were shivs. Not that long ago, all at cost, all to guys who peek in here now and then.

^^^ Dang! Justin was here back then but he was all caught up in his CRKs and another brand back then... Just rubbing it in :D

Didn't use one today, but I think folks thought I was joking when I said I use the pry on the FK to free my trailer tongue lock...

Well Casino I did manage to land the Butterscotch that Bob sold, but no where near at cost. I'm OK with that. You wanna play, you gotta pay!! Let me go take a pic...

I knew I missed way too many opportunities watching Nathan's work pass by so I had to throw down the $$$. It is what it is. I'm OK with you rubbing it in a little and won't mention the last one you passed up and your sig! Oh wait, screwed that up!

HK, I knew you weren't joking lol.

WTLJ, you have a small army to feed?! Looks like a serious stock or something.

Here she is Gentlemen,

This is as close as she gets to work. Being outside. Liners so sexy.

Edit: The colour is nearly impossible to capture. In person it looks a lot more caramel, and a lot less orange. Sigh.

Haha, just my wife and 3 little ones. We get so busy during the week with work and sports that no leftovers go to waste.

Not a bad way to do it. The brushed looks great. Man Nathan know how to make em'. I still think the mark is noticeably missing on the brushed as well.
