What did you use your Emerson for today?

Was taking a stroll through the woods today, it has been raining lately (I love the earthy smell after a rain) and was a cool but comfy 50 degrees. I noticed a large pine had recently fallen and toppled an oak sapling. I thought it would be a waste to let the young tree die for nothing, and decided it was the perfect size for a sturdy walking stick. As always, I was carrying my beloved super 7, and used it to severe the sapling so I could bring it home. The task was an easy one, and in a few minutes I had my stick. The blade still popped hair after I was done, but I've come to expect nothing less. I love my knife. :D:thumbup:

I wasn't out today, but I did use my A-100 to open a box of cigarette tubes.;)

I used my 12 to cut a huge lump of seed burrs from my dogs elbows earlier this morning.
There was just no brushing those out so I had to cut the hair a bit to get them all off.

Was hoping to use my CQC-16 to field dress a whitetail deer this weekend, but I didn't even see a buck.

I'm not carrying an Emerson today  Please forgive me.

Just carrying my new ZT0300.

I carry the RW proto only while I'm at church. That along with a UT6s are my Sunday knives.

I opened a couple of sacks of bird food and sliced up a ham and cheese bread loaf.

cut the plastic off a ben and jerrys pint o' ice cream with my cqc8, needless to say it went very well...

I used my STR/TK P-Tac to open a pack of dog food this morning and then open a few packages when I got to work.

Some pretty hard core tactical knife use going on here today

:p:thumbup:

Used my mini A 100, to cut straps on newspaper bundles, cleaned fingernails :p

Opened a couple bags of horse feed with my CQC15.
Cut through a couple of plastic tie downs that were too tight to get a normal blade into with my Persian. My new favorite blade of all time!

Hi Folks -

I cut the binder off of my Christmas tree, and then trimmed the lower branches with my cqc -7.

Had to use the serrations to cut one of the branches - but went right through.

Now the knife smells like pine and has sap on the blade.

best regards -

I de-animated a rather large box that our new dishwasher came in and then I prepared dinner, all with the CQC-10.
