Well it seems that most of us have an Izula and quite a few EDC it, so I thought it might be kind of a cool idea for a tread.
So... What did you use your Izula for today?

Today I used mine to cut a sandwich in half for lunch, and to trim some plants around my house.

I used my RC4 to trim tomato plants, and cut some paracord for a lanyard. I don't have an Izula yet, and want one bad!

Eye candy and to fondle. I find I don't use my knives nearly as much as I'd like to during college season.

I have a second job as a movie projectionist for extra money, and over the past week I have been trying to fix some of the booth equipment. Well, a roller broke and caused a brain-wrap so I got the chance to cut movie film with my Izula.

Same here, I usually find myself looking for things to cut! :p

I just said the same thing in one of my older threads. Being a college kid can be rough, huh? :p

I used my Izula to cut an apple and scoop out some peanut butter today. :D

You didn't try to lick the peanut butter off did you?

it's great for apples, isn't it? used mine at work on a bunch of shrink wrap, a few straps... cleaning and trimming my fingernails... showing it to coworkers, think i've got another one hooked.

No. I like to think that a college education helped me make that decision.:p

Yeah it worked great on apples. Now I can use it all the time.

My twin brother, who is definitely not into knives, saw Bluntruth4u's cut test with the Izula and was surprised. I let him handle my Izula and now he wants one. There's no stopping the Izula addiction. ;)

Cut the tops of caulking tubes off so I could use them. Open a blister pack.

Cut up some homemade dog treats before taking a five mile walk in the park with my best friend.

It wasn't today, but I've cut up steak, apples, tablets (medicine for my dog), and done a fair bit of whittling. Love that knife:thumbup:. Wouldn't say it's the best for apples though, the thickness of the blade keeps on splitting my apples into uneven chunks, which wasn't impressing my mum. But she's a perfectionist.;)

Yesterday I opened a package containing a flint and a steel, and another one containing paracord. Just now I opened the letter that informs me about the team at the polling place I'll be working with for the election of the Bundestag. (I volunteered to help there.)

Later today I'll open another package coming in containing my birthday present for my husband. (Well parts of it.) I need to check if everything is there and in working order, before I wrap it.

Well, it appears we are all putting those Isulas through some tough tasks.....glad to see that they are holding up:D I am in the same boat.....wish I got out more.

I've been carrying mine with me everyday in a zippered chest pocket on my jacket when at school. I went fishing on Monday and carried it under my jacket, slung over my shoulder with my modified Merc Harness. Didn;t even know it was there, but that day I used it to cut fishing line, as well as clear some brush that I got snagged in a few times.

Cutout some dead stalks from my plants around the patio, opened mail, cut up a bunch of cord for a project, fondled and stared at it, sliced my pinky finger by the palm, cut up boxes for the trash and slit butterfly pork chops so they lay flat in the pan. It'll cut up dinner later. :)
