Thinking about all the different styles, sizes and uses of the various Spydercos, I thought this would be a cool thread.

What Spydie did you carry today and what did you do with it?

I used my FRN Jess Horn to cut up and eat a pear and some sharp cheddar.

Carried my Tenacious today. (well, pretty much every day...)
Cut up some thick rubber air hose lines at work. Cut some thick plastic straps holding together a box of a home gym setup.

And various other small tape cutting, cardboard cutting, package opening...

Carried PE D4 and SE Tenacious.

Cut up a birthday cookie-cake at a club meeting. No one remembered to grab a knife. The wide leaf-blade works great for serving food.

Opened packages, food containers, pocked a thumb hole in a medical wrist wrap.

Knocked ice out of an ice tray.

endura4 ZDP FFG :

last night i didn't like the way my new work shoes were fitting my foot , so i did some leather modifications .

Killed some zombies with my millie and opened some mail with my D4 ;)

Today I used my Caly 3 to open some mail, cut a cereal box into a cardboard place mat (chinese food, that sweet n' sour sauce gets everywhere) and to open a package containing a Military - the irony of it!

My SS/Kraton Stretch got some kind of grit in the pivot hunting this weekend, so I gave it the day off until I can flush it out. Used my AUS6 Ladybug to open two packages and cut bubblewrap to ship (what else) a batch of knives and flashlights.

Today I carry C83 Persian, Caly3, and Kopa Coco. So far used only Kopa to open bag of pretzels (I know, not healthy).
Sliced tomatoes with Caly3, opened box with Persian.
You see three knives is absolute minimum. Day is not over yet.

I've been carrying a Rookie since the end of last week. Only used it twice, last weekend to cut some string holding plants in the back yard, and yesterday to peel and cut a pear for lunch.

My 2 current Spyderco EDCs are my Golden CO Native, 440V, SE and my G-10 handled, Spyderco Harpy, ATS-55, SE.

This morning already I used the Native to open 3 packages. I also used the Native to scrape off some type of material on the blade of my pruning shears. I used the Harpy to slice off some garden hose that needed mending with a splice kit.

But I'm sure by the end of the day I'll use both of them for something else. I usually get both of them out to do work at least 3 times for each blade.

I just won't leave home without at least 2 of my EDC Spyders. And on outdoor ventures I usually always have 3: 2 folders and one fixed blade.

Went over to my parents place and opened up a HUGE box. They had a new kitchen table delivered and there was tons of zip ties, shrink wrap, foam, and cardboard to cut with my Native4.

Eh, not much.. I cut a small piece from an eraser to act as wedge for taking knife photos in the correct angle. Using the big ol' Manix was perhaps slightly overdoing it but it was the closest knife at hand. :)

Used my FRN Stretch to cut up a couple bandages to patch up the slice my RAT Cutlery Izula made in one of my fingers! Reason I used the Stretch instead of the Izula was because the Izula was completely coated in my blood and squirrel guts. Went hunting and the cleaning part went awry. Got sloppy, which is very rare for me. I will remember to do better next time!
