What Did You Whittle This Week?

This thread is for posting pictures of anything you have whittled. A little story to go with it and some info about what knife you used will earn you extra credit points!!

I will start it off...


So I decided to whittle a little something out of boredom today while my wife studied her online course material...

I cut a dead branch from the tree in my back yard and went to town with my Case Bose Premium Stockman.

My beautiful wife loves owls so I decided that is what I would whittle.

The sheep’s foot blade made precise and controlled cuts a breeze. I did use the awl on my vic alox pioneer to make the pupils of the eyes, but everything else was done with the stockman. I finished it with a little sandpaper and some stain.

[Misplaced Hillbilly]

Nothing fancy I'm afraid, predicting strong winds and my boss wanted a latch on this little out building. Made this quick and functional, function over form as it were. Whittled the handle peg from a scrap, chamfered the edges dont look like much but its sturdier than the doors its hung on lol.

Oh whittling was done with Ol'97

Not recent, but the last one I whittled. I usually use my Victorinox hiker. when I grew up I used to whittle while my grandad worked on his land. I usually made catapults , but lately I've been whittling more figures and such.
