Alright everyone, the SAK bug has bitten me hard and luckily it's among the less pricey end of what I normally buy in single blade folders
. I've always carried either a Leatherman on my belt, a SAK in the pocket, or some form of knife on me since I can remember. We all know that multi use tools are able to be applied to several applications in our day other than just cutting stuff. So since I was unable to find a similar thread in this sub-forum I wanted to add one:
What did your SAK / MT do today to earn its keep?
Last night my SAK Electrician helped fix the auto timer switch that went out a month ago. I haven't had the time (and when I do it's always when the stores are closed) but yesterday was the exception. With my Electrician in hand and a "want" in mind to put it to some real use I went to Home Depot and found an identical in size auto timer and brought it home. My trusty Electrician (and my wife) reminded me to shut off the breaker where I was working. THEN I was ready to work with my trusty Electrician and a flashlight in hand. The switch didn't stand a chance. Pulled off the cover after taking off the screws and using the flathead as a mini pry bar. The rest was all wing nuts and putting it back together.
