So to all that use the dmt stones what ones do you use? Corrugated or Continuous? And what and how many do I need I'm thinking corse - fine- extra fine

F/ EF Duosharp works well for me on my kitchen knives. The F is aggressive enough to handle minor dings and the EF refines edges enough for my kitchen use. Unless you're reprofiling, needing to do more extensive repairs, or working with one of the more wear resistant steels, you might be able to skip the C (or add it later).

I have coarse and fine, but I recently ordered ef. I hit my edges pretty often and 90% of the time I just use the fine, but I'm glad I have the coarse too. Saves a lot of time when an edge has been neglected for a while. I think c/f/ef is a great combo. Works for me, but i dont know much. You can get a lot more experienced opinions than mine.

For general sharpening a C/F duosharp and strop with 1 Micron diamond compound.

If you want more then the diasharp set from XXC to EEF is hard to beat.
