A D2 SkelBenza...! Or My new folder. kind of cool, huh?
Please note that I mean this with all due respect to Chuck Gedraitis, I realize this is a unique work, not just a DozSkelBenza, but still.... it certainly does have a few familiar elements, but in a good way!

I need to find a way to integrate AD blade into a frame lock folder :eek: Time to get a mill and some titanium slabs ;)
 
Normally, I wouldn't go for this kind of thing, but it's interesting. A long thin knife that I would usually just pass over. Almost like a stretched out Umfaan or something. And the price was very, very good! Chuck's work isn't cheap! But I'm sure it's worth it. To me it appears as though most, if not all of his work is handmade, and I say this because of the lack of repetitive patterns of the work he posts and on his website, and it looks handmade. I can't really describe why, maybe it just looks a little more organic, and like a sculpted machine.
Oh, and maybe the name of his business gives it away too. "Gedraitis Hand Crafted Knives" :o

If you get a chance it would be nice to see a pic of it "in hand." It's hard to tell how long it really is.

i thought long and hard for a few days about that one-it came up a day after i bought another custom -since i couldnt afford it i bought a damascus leek-lol

I just took a second look at the specs, and the size of the blade is so close to a skeleton key, it's scary!
Yes, I have a skeleton key that I just measure, I'll post a comparison pic when it comes in.
But cool (Please note, I'm certain is strictly coincidence, please don't read any negative implications into my observation, thanks.)
