What do I buy TKC handles for?

Dunno - Grips are soooo subjective.

Which do YOU feel needs them the most?

Is there something wrong with the Micarta scales they already have? Are you sure that G10 scales will 'fix' what's wrong?
 
There is nothing wrong necessarily, but I hear they drastically improve the comfort.
 
The 6 by far. The TKC grips on the 5/6 feel incredible, and are a vast improvement on the factory slabs. The TKC Junglas scales are way too narrow for many people, myself included. The original Junglas scales feel better to me.
 
The 5/6 scales would be the way to go.
The stock are so square.
The jungles already feels good.
( I had to go midnight tiger on my Izula 2, 5, and junglas. I love my tkc scales. )
 
I got the TKC scales on my Junglas, and after feeling a stock Junglas, I wish I hadn't. Like stated above, they feel just a bit too narrow for my hands, and I don't have large hands by any means. I've never felt the 5/6 TKC scales, but they look remarkably comfortable.
 
I'm leaning towards the 5/6 because the wooden handles aren't horrible, but don't feel great either. From what I've read the TKC are vast improvements.
 
I have them on my Izula, BK-14, and Izula II. They are well made, contoured properly, but the markup on these is about 300%, making them way overpriced, not to mention never on sale. They are made by Halpern Titanium.
 
I guess you're partly paying for the lifetime warranty, as they carry the same as the blade.
 
The price is a bit of a drawback. After shipping it's almost half the price of a new 6. If it really improves the grip that much I'm willing to pay it though.
 
The thing that really pushed me was if they were ever damaged, you can get new ones for free. Same as the stock, but what aftermarket part carries the same lifetime warranty as what is going on. Can't beat that.
 
I had orange g10 TKC grips on an ESEE 6 that I sold. It was a drastic improvement in the comfort. I ended up selling it to buy a Survive 5.1 (basically an ESEE 6 that is better in every way). Looking down on the spine from the top the handle will have a coke bottle contour. the nice thing is that they still work with the factory sheaths for the ESEE.
 
5/6 are the bomb
My five feels so much better with them.
