What do I do with a TacTool?

I bought a Camillus Becker BK3 TacTool. I have no idea what all the various design features of the knife are intended to do. I just thought it was "unusual" and, often that is enough for me, but I sure would like to know all the functions Ethan wanted to design into it. If you're reading this Ethan, what were you thinking when you drew this one up?

HEHEHEHEHE...I don't blame you! I first saw the Tactool on one of the various armchair operator TV shows...I believe it was FutureWeapons but I'm not sure. They had a guy on who was running through what the spec ops guys carry. Right away the Tactool caught my eye. Like you I just thought it was a cool looking knife that I had to have. It quickly became one of my favorite blades. I use it primarily as a camp knife and it has earned a permanent spot lashed to the side of my go bag.

I've used it to make spears, walking sticks, machete my way through thick brush...I've used the hook thing (forgiv me I'm not up on the terminology) to cut my way through various cord including 550 para...I've used its nifty one side design and square tip to pry my way into an abandoned camper and split wood...even used it as a hammer once...its one helluva survival knife. Next to the "Jaws of Life" the tactool is the next best thing to get you into and out of a crashed vehicle. I went to work on a rear quarter panel of an old Camry...the holes were smaller than an axe but it got the job done. I imagine it would scare the hell out of a bad guy too! I love my Tactool.

I wouldn't mind seeing one of those Swiss Army knife diagrams that shows you what everything is for though.

PS - In case you were wondering where I did all of the above destruction...I have some wooded property that has a ton of abandoned junk on it...everything from campers and old cars to even an old makeshift log cabin.

Maryland sounds fun:D

Cross hit it on the head though, its a knife to kick the crap out of. Perfect for a BOB, or similar truck kit. I've been eyeing one for a while now, but I just have others that have become more usful for me.
