I have a Schrade twin-switchblade knife that I would describe as a "gentlemen's knife". The case is silver-like, I assume nickel plated, it is 3.5" long, the longest blade is 2", the shorter blaqde is narrower and is 1.5" long. The longer blade has the name of the company and "Walden, NY" underneath it.
Can anyone tell me what I have?

You know what you have, as you just described it. What else you have is a violation of forum rules expecting an assessment service. It will be worth a reprimand shortly. I'd recommend removing the "worth" question and replace it with a picture of the knife.

.....what he said and I think you will find its 3 3/8" long instead of 3 1/2" long....sounds similar to the Nickel Silver S/Cut Co 7409GSIL <GSIL = Nickel Silver>....I'm presuming it has blades on each end..the number 7 =2 blades, one on each end...does it have pattern scales or smooth?.....if its Schrade Walden it will be later than 1946 and likely 1950's....my braille is not the best and a photo would give more informed opinions ...Hoo Roo

I removed the portion of your post that was causing the issue. From the rules:

NEW MEMBERS :: Please read this :: WHAT IS MY KNIFE WORTH?

From Bladeforums rules:

WHAT IS MY KNIFE / GADGET / SPATULA / TUNING FORK WORTH ?!?!?!?!

In order to curtail potential abuse of membership privileges associated with the forums, questions regarding valuation of knives and collections are limited to those with a membership level which permits selling on this site. Accordingly, registered and basic members may not start or post in threads with such requests whether with the intent to sell or for informational purposes only. This rule applies throughout the site.

In other words, without a paid Gold membership, you don't get to ask about sale values. Too many people abused this question to hint they had a knife for sale, which you need that membership for.
