What do I have here?

Hi Everyone,
I picked this up lately and would like a little help to ID it please.I know its a Next Gen,but it has a few differences to my other one.
They are:-No model number on blade.
Pommel is rounded on the rear,not flat.
Sheath has no rivets.
Stitching across the mouth of the sheath that holds a thin kydex or plastic liner to the inside of the outer piece of leather.

Would this one be 12c27 steel? Any and all help much appreciated,thankyou.

First generation of that particular model. Its the Next Gen model without serrations and early style leather sheath. Finish was bead blasted, not a gray powder coating like the last version. I had the same knife years ago.
 
Was only the pre-production model 12c27 and the production models 440a?
Which steel was used for this one?Thanks for the help.

I think they went to the 440 when they dropped the bead blasting and went with the gray powder coat finish but not sure.
