I assume this was a Spyderco/Wegner collaboration from way back but I honestly can't remember. It's ATS-34 steel.

Can anyone tell me anything about it? I was thinking of getting rid of it because it just sits around collecting dust.

Guess I'm trying to get a little history behind it before I post it up if anyone can help. Thanks!!

Why not? I don't like the fact that it sits around and doesn't get appreciated like it should.

One of the same reasons I sold a Dozier fixed blade last year. Great knife but why not let someone give it the "love" it deserves? :)

Could be either a C48 Wegner, or a C49 Wegner Jr. The C48 has a 3 5/8" blade while the C49 has a 2 7/8" blade, but otherwise they look pretty similar.

FRN? What's that?
FRN is Fiberglass Reinforced Nylon, but the handles on your Wegner are G-10. Just curious as to which version it is, the "large" or the "Junior". Both have collector interest, but many are looking specifically for one or the other.

From the hand-held picture I say it's a C48 Wegner, the bigger model from the Wegner's. It's a good knife and does have all gene inside a good hunting knife should have.
