what do the little colors squares mean on the Reputation points

Green means your well liked and you have something to contribute to the forums.

Black means the rep feature has been disabled.

Red means people think your a sh*t-laden f*cktard and it would be better for you and the community to off yourself with a nice tall glass of iced tea and Drano.
 
You can disable it yourself by going to the User CP> Edit Options> Uncheck Show My Reputation Level> Save your settings.
