what do they use to drill thru titanium?

I use Cobalt bits, lots of oil and slow drill press

Take your time and keep the bit cool. Make sure your work piece is stable.

How thick is the area you're going to drill, and how big a hole. How accurate a diameter do you need? If it's thin, as in liners, then a sharp h.s. steel drill will work. If it's thick and has work hardened, you might want carbide.
