Now as for me, I carry an array things on me at all time. Some pieces switch around depending if I'm inside or out (sometimes both) doing yard work, cutting some tree branches of various sizes in florida. For regular contractor work it's a SOG Trident folder, small case peanut, Sog Powerlock Pliers, and Swiss Champ. I definately use every single day including opening a bottle of wine for some friends that had misplaced an opener. I've had worst case scenarios where my trident was the only tool laying around that could cut some baseboard for another worker.

Here' my list of EDC's and daily tasks and wonder what exactly you guys (n girls) do with all you knives (or singular knife) during an average day.

Case Peanut, prepairing breakfat cutting fruit, toast, opening mail, cutting cardboard boxing.
Sog Trident TF-1 Folder, general landscape knife for cutting back small to med sized branches touching houses, cutting caulk off baseboard, general cutting.
Swiss Champ (needed the pen and toothpick on many occations!) Cutting brown paper to mask windows for paint, scissors for any number of required daily cuts for light string, or fishing line. Screw driver attachments for light switch removal, SAK saw for working on small drywall holes. Magnifying glass to read computer serial numbers that are written microscopically!
SOG Powerlock to help remove nails and wall anchors and bolts, closed it can hammer a paint can shut. Most any bolt loosening necessary.
And finally, but only at home of fishing, a Mora Robust HQ and Tramontina Bolo Machete which can handle 99% of yard issues for me. Including cutting bags of river rock, lawn fabric, tree pruning.

So, with all that, I'd love to see how you all are working your gear into everyday use! THanks!

I think that you work much too hard...

I carry one folder on me, constantly, that is used for everything...

I'm glad clothes made the list. Hate to think you have to carry all that stuff crammed in somewhere.

Used to carry it in a day pack. Clothes allowed me to ditch the day pack.

Folding knife or 2 - Used and abused.
CRKT Obake fixed blade - Works well as my slicer
Croton Aquamatic II watch - Tells time, allows me to keep track of how slow my day is going by.
Grizzly Wintergreen - Been dipping for 10 years, why stop now?
Browning Rodeo Wallet - Fine leather piece this one, allows for easy storage of cash, cards and even the occasional receipt.
Nite Ize Slidelock with Nite Ize Keychain tool - I carry my keys on this, and you never know when a keychain tool or carabiner will come in handy.
Taurus PT845 - Self Defense and if I am stranded out a million miles from nowhere I can at least shoot some game.
Phone - Serves well as my hammer, coaster for beverages, device that allows me to communicate and check all the pertinents like BF and Facebook.

.38spl revolver
5 round speed strip
Benchmade Griptillian
Victorinox Farmer
iPhone

Nothing fancy. I pocket carry the revolver and it makes for a very concealable setup.

Knife: My primary EDC is the Victorinox Adventurer. It is my main cutter both on the job and off. I use just about all the tools on it.
Multi-Tool: Vic Spirit; keep it in my field bag (work) and carry when needed on my belt.
CRKT Folding Razel (the large one versus the stubby): Use it for scraping paint and other crap off walls in homes I might be working on. I like to leave with things looking very clean.
Utility Knife: Mostly for cutting carpet, but use it for other work stuff like cutting paper and plastic sheeting. It stays in my field bag until I need it.
Cell Phone: My link to life.
Pen & small pocket sized tablet: Mostly for notes from business phone calls.
Watch
Keys and the usual pocket debris.

Work:Leatherman Skeletool CX Multi-Tool has a 154cm blade, flat/philips drivers and pliers/wire cutters. It also opens beer.
Play: ZT0550
Dressed up: Sage 2

Samsung S5(waterproof ftw)
Samsung Gear 2 watch
CF Elephant Wallet this thing is lite and secures cards
Olight i7R EOS Ti (key chain light)

Utility knives are excellent to have around if someone needs to "borrow" a knife. I have a Milwaukee Fastback in a tool bucket as well.

Seiko G-Shock
Pocket knife of various flavors. (Usually a Buck, Victorinox SAK or Spyderco of some kind)
Handkerchief (Useful for mopping up spills and to keep me looking civilized)

Other optional wannabe macho/tactical things are sometimes added, but these are my "don't leave home without 'em" items.

Let's see...

Wallet, keys and phone.

Two folders (or a small fixed blade), one on each side. I use them for general cutting chores, ranging from opening boxes to preparing food (I spend several days a week away from home) and, sadly, self defence is also a potential use.

SAK or small multitool (like a Squirt or Micra), the model depends on what kind of multitool I've got in my backpack/briefcase. For instance if I've got a Rebar in my backpack (which has everything I need except for scissors), I'll carry a Micra or a Vic Climber. I use these for small simple repairs or when I need to cut something in a place where a larger knife might draw unwanted attention. To be quite honest, a basic SAK like a Pioneer can handle 95% of my knife and tool needs on a regular day.

Large multitool in my backpack or briefcase. I've got several bags for different activities (gym bag, regular edc bag, briefcase for when I wear a suit, etc.) and I keep a full size multitool in each of them, some Vic SwissTools, different Leatherman models (today I've got a Charge Ti with extra bits). I use them for little home improvement jobs at my girlfriend's or at my grandmother's (they always seem to have a list of things for me to mend), and whatever might come up during the day.

Small AAA Fenix flashlight on my keys and a 2AA Fenix flashlight in my backpack. I can't remember the model, I'm not a huge flashlight enthusiast, these work for me and I've had them for a few years. Blackouts are a problem in my town, especially during the summer months (last year my gym had no electricity for two weeks), a good flashlight is a must.

Pen and notebook. I can't remember my own birthday on a good day, so I write everything down. I like fountain pens and thick paper, always keep a regular pencil handy too.

That's the usual stuff I carry everyday. Since I spend a lot of time away from home I tend to have an extra change of clothes or two in my backpack, as well as a simple first aid kit, toiletries and other odds and ends I might need. I know it sounds like a lot, but I've refined my choices through the years and can comfortably fit what I need for three days or so into a regular daypackand what I keep on my person fits comfortably in the pockets of my khakis.

Usually I have a wallet, knife, some kind of a small multitool on keychain, small flashlight on keychain, phone. Whenever I go outdoors I end up putting a peanut lighter on the keychain as well.

Small multitool is usually either a Leatherman Squirt PS4 (during work hours, or whenever I'm outdoors) or a SAK Classic Alox (going drinking/out on the town). Sometimes you need a very small blade for delicate tasks, or you just can't take out your main knife for whatever reason, and both the Squirt and SAK are perfect for those times. Scissors are also useful, and a flat screwdriver tip is good for anything from picking nails to, well, unscrewing things.
The keychain flashlight is the Klarus MiX6. It's a pretty awesome little light, I had it for over three months now and it's still on its original battery. I usually don't like lights that you have to twist to turn on, but it's not too irritating on this one.
