...your folder has movement caused by a over sized detent pocket? Is there a term for this I haven't seen yet? I vote for detent pocket play. Too much? I'll see myself out.

If it's new I call it a warranty claim, if it's old I call it retired.
I only recall people noting that the blade has play when closed, then they sum it up to an issue with the detent ball or pocket.
As far as a knife nerd term I'm not sure there is a well established one, yet.. detent rock has my vote
