What do you collect more of?

What do you collect more of, knives, pens, lighters, flashlights, watches?

For me it's:

Knives 300+
Lighters 75+
Flashlights 13
Watches 10
Pens 4

In that order.
 
...so I can't vote on your poll.

But, I collect knives.

My wife says I collect guns but I have about 150 fewer of those than I do knives. :eek: :D :p


I suppose I should mention I have about 15-17 flashlights. Everything from rechargeable million candlepower spotlights down to the Photon Microlight.

None of the high dollar stuff, just lower end stuff that is bright and/or can be used to club a BG.
My best buy to date, IMO, is the Brinkmann Legend LX. It uses two 123 Lithium batteries and throws out an insane amount of light . Look into that thing in the dark and ya won't do it willingly again. :eek: I love that little $19.99 flashlight enough that I bought another to keep in the car.
Like I need yet another flashlight in the car. :rolleyes: :D
 
Deffinetly knives the most. I only have maybe 20 or so knives, 7 or 8 of which are customs.

Lighters.....2 Zippos
Flashlights..1 (just an Arc AAA, though that may change after Christmas)
Pens..........6 (Pelican, Waterman, Namiki, Rotring, Levenger, Fisher)
Watches.....1 real watch (SMP) and a couple others that I don't really count
 
I am down to 7 knives.

I am down to 35 firearms.

I only have one flashlight!!!!
 
Of those listed the only thing I collect is knives. I have half a dozen watches and dozens of pens, but I don't collect either. I have no lighters and two flashlights. As far as knives go, I have 21 of them.
 
40+ knives, dont even wanna say how many firearms but several lol, 5 watches and 1 colibri liter.
 
Lots of knives.
Have about 10 lighters not counting Bics.
3 'nice' writing pens and a lot of moderately expensive 'tech' pens.
Buncha odd flashlights.
Lots of watches. I like pocket watches too.
Arrowheads, walking sticks, old hand tools, fossils and ex-girfriends make up the rest.
 
I had never really considered it "collecting", except for knives. After looking around I discovered I do collect watches (5 G-shocks), flashlights (2SF's, 1 Inova, 2 Maglight's, and 2 Pelican's), lighters (Colibri, Zippo's, and Brunton), and finally pen's( don't really know the number here, but the BEST writing pens I've ever found come from WM and are Zebra F-402's).

While I don't collect expensive items in the watch, flashlight, lighters, and pen categories, I guess I'm a collector nontheless! :D :D :D

Ya never realize the extent of collections till ya try to get 'em all together for an inventory, then it becomes patently apparent that you collect more things than ya think ya do.

The one collection that suprised me the most were skulls, when I started looking around I realized I had about a dozen 'em.
 
I have about a dozen folders, 2 fixed blades, 4 Fisher Bullet Space Pens, 0 lighters (unless I count my Zippo BBQ starter), and 2 watches.

Bible leaves-17? (1560 geneva, 1575 bishops, 1608 geneva, 1613 King James, 1619 King James, 1633, King James, Tyndale NT psalter, etc.)
 
Over 100 knives, 4 pens - Mont Blanc/Waterman/Lightfoot Ti/Fisher, 7 flashlights - SF's/Inova/Arc, 6 watches - Omega/Oris/Seiko/Tag/Citizen/Swiss Army, numerous Zippo's and 3 pistols - all Colts.
 
Knives, flashlights, and guns... in that order. I have a few Zippos around from when I used to smoke though. Still haven't gotten into pens and watches yet (knock on wood). :)
 
I collect Zippo lighters, have a small collection of 15. Some get used, like my EDC Brushed Chrome, and some don't, like the Led Zeppelin logo ones.
