What do you do with your scrap Kydex?

Say a piece 1" x 3", for example, or odd shapes and sizes not useful as sheaths. I keep throwing it out, but I have always felt a little silly throwing material away, even when I can't think of a use for it. What would you do with it?

that stuff could be useful for making clips, belt loops and other attachments (?)
I remember seeing some kydex that had a layered construction with neat looking cutouts and overlays and stuff. Just for looks I think

I thought about doing this a few times, but have not yet had the foresight to grab eyelets that will span three layers.

I can't find my Bic lighter holster - probably gave it away. But I found this EDC sheath for some CR123s I made. This was the first or second one I ever did, from a piece of scrap a few years ago. Not pretty, but it works nicely.

every scrap gets used here . i make wood chisel edge protectors , blade guards for exacto knives , a clamp to hold the Dremel extension.
i do mostly leather for a "Sheath" but have Kydex/Boltaron just in case.. score it snap it and bend it. think outside the box..
