What do you do with your UG?

Those of you with an Urban Grudge--what are you plans for the knife? My first impression, is that it would be a great fighting knife because of the style/length of the blade and the swedge.

I also think it would be a great utility knife. The swedge would make it not so desirable for batoning, imo, but great for many other tasks.

So, to those who planning on using the UG...what do you plan on using it for? I think it's an extra groovy knife.

I have one, but i honestly cant think of a use for it, other than a fighting knife, that my other knives dont have covered...its just cool to have around, and will be cooler one it gets some pants from chuddy bear:D

Clearly you're under the mistaken impression that many of the folks here USE their Busse knives.

It's a sad truth that so many fine tools spend their lives sitting in safes and boxes under the bed.

:(

LOL! I kind of feel the same way...My other knives have everything covered...it would only excel more as a fighting knife. But it is just so darn cool. Can't wait to see how the chuddy pants turn out. Be sure and share.

my UG doesn't smash wood or make fuzz sticks or gut animals. my UG busts open bacon packs and then looks awesome on my shelf (and even better when my burgundy chuddy bear sheath arrives). :D it will definitely go along for my next cross country drive.
it may not do a lot of chores but it definitely gets appreciated all the time. sweet blade.:thumbup:

Mine's riding IWB under my vest as I type this from work (shhh ! ;) )

Beat the he!! out of it cleaning up after the last wind, I was too lazy to go inside and get a BM.

Or drawers in Idaho.

I'd like to get down to a half-dozen knives. "need" is so small and "WANT" is so big.

I'm just waiting on my RMD and choil-less Boss Jack to make my final choices and cut the herd substantially.

Lemme know how that works. You can NEVER get out, never get out, never get out.........

I make sheaths with mine :D

So far...sounds lame, but I practice, getting used to the ergonomics of the knife, its perfect, I'm just not fully used to it yet. And its going with me on camping trips when I get the sheath made for it. My favorite knife so far.

It does feel good in the hand!!! It may make it for a try out as a field dressing knife

I work a lot of night shifts on freeways and in less desirable towns or just down right dangerous cities, I can't think of a better traveling companion than my UG, it's like it was custom designed for my line of work. I am waiting for my Chuddy bear sheath in till my UG can go on active duty, in till then my Hissatsu pocket folder will have to do.
