Christ sakes Frankie! Your dad wasn't a big polish guy from IL was he? You look like you could be my kin.

Actually, my father is Sicilian, and my mother is British-Canadian. My looks are much more after my mother's side of the family- almost no one ever guesses I'm part Sicilian.

what the heck is that in your hands? Looks like a mutant oversized BM of some sort (although I doubt it can cut very well) !?!?!?

Thx for posting gents, now where are the rest of you buggers at?!

Frankie, you look exactly like one of my mates! - Scary sh*t! - right down to the beard...

Here I'm doing one of my favorite things:D

Yes. Smallies are my fish of choice. The one in the picture was something like 21 1/2 inches long, which is monstrous for New York State. I got her while night fishing a small lake in the Adirondacks. She's my second biggest smallie to date.

The largest one doesn't quite count, as it was caught during the spring trout season, long before bass season opened up. My trout spot had been invaded by spawning smallmouth. Lugging in a 4 1/2 lb smallie on a light action trout rig, and from raging spring waters, was unbelievable. I first thought I had an 8 lb brown trout on my line!!!

Pound for pound, I'll take a smallie over any other freshwater fish.
