What do you guys know about THIS Koster?

I got it from a friend of a friend, they thought it was a Koster K5 but sure does not look like one to me. It is O1 steel with a scandi grind but no Koster markings. Handle looks to be Elder.

I was just looking for some Koster experts and thought this was the right place.

Dan - does this style ring a bell? I think it was made around 2004-2005.
 
That is a rare scandi-grind K4 Karda in O1 and Curly Maple. I don't know why it doesn't have my mark, except that maybe the blade was darker (blackened) and I sometimes can't get it to etch....?!? (in the meantime the surface finish may have rubbed off...less blackened now) I'll be happy to etch it for you if you like...I'll ship it back at my expense.
