What do you guys think about these axes?

I tend to be wary of anything that names its gear "viking machete" and the like. Some of the stuff looks functional, but more tailored to the mall ninjas lesser known cousin, the mall woodsman

i kinda like look of double bit too but i dunno about stainless steel and hardwood. could find something better... hahah mall woodsman

I guess I should have been more specific. I was really focusing on the hatchets specifically the 11'' double bit hatchet. I saw one similar to it in Tactical Knives that apparently was custom made. It looked like something a guy could afford. I normally don't let the names of things influence whether I buy it or not.

I really don't think i would like to use such a small hatchet with a double bit.
It seems to me that the extra bit is not needed in a small hatchet as it is going to stop you from doing things that you would normally do such as battoning a normal hatchet to split wood or hammering small pegs. It would also make it difficult to choke up to the bit for delicate cutting tasks.

I agree that amall double bit would be great to have, but those dont look anywhere near the quality of the Lee Reeves and other ones I have seen.
However those are a bit procier and there is a waiting list for them.
If you really want to try one out, could be a good place to start.
