What do you guys think of the Mini CQC-7?

I hear a lot about the regular CQC-7, but I never hear about the mini. I'm really wanting my first Emerson and I want a good starter that is fairly cheap and I am starting to like the looks of the 7.

I love my mini CQC-7s. They are my most "go to" knives. Just the right size and feel perfect in my hands.

I own 1 of the minis, from 2004. I love it, was my first Emerson.

Started off with a mini but carry a regular now. Mini feels too small for me.

Mini is too small for me personally. The handle is comfortable, but the blade is just a little too short. I LOVE my regular 7 though. Carrying it right now actually. Remember, the blade on the regular is only 3.25", so hardly a huge blade. Either way, you will be very happy with any 7. It is an amazing design.

My mini is my go to when traveling because of different knife laws (mini 7 just under 3 inches)

I think I will especially because I can get a waveless version of the regular for a couple bucks more than the mini. I really like the looks of the blade without the wave for some reason.

Good. The Original is just-right, imo.
My 7 is Waveless too.

The mini is too small for my hands. I got the waveless 7 as well. Considered buying the mini for my father, though.
