This is a custom order that I completed yesterday. Tell me what do you guys think of it? The guy that ordered it is a Army recruiter and I think he wants the knife for display purposes. He requested it to yellow liners and asked if I could get ahold of some scales that spelt "U.S. Army" on it in yellow letters with a black background, which in the end I obviously was able to come up with them. Anyways, first impressions what do y'all think of it? Any criticism is welcomed. Knife is forged BTW.

Here are the specs:

Steel: 1084

OA Length: 8-3/4"

Blade Length: 4-1/2"

Blade Finish: 400/600 Grit Satin

Tang: Full

Handle: Resin

Liners: Yellow G10

Pins: Stainless

Blade Thickness: ~⅛ “

Edge Geometry: 20 degrees

Creation Method: Forged

Sheath: N/A

I like it. It looks like the ergos would be really nice and it looks like it would do well in the kitchen or the outdoors.

I like the shape and overall rustic design a lot.

... IMO the not-at-all rustic yellow lettering and liners sorta clash with that, but if it's what the customer wants, it's fine.

"The customer is always right."
And it turned-out to be a good-looking choice!

I like it. But when I clicked on the link, I was expecting a fighting/survival knife. This little cutie is a classy kitchen knife to me.

Is the recruiter looking for cooks? :D

I'm not sure😅. Sorry that I disappointed you, expecting it to be some badass fighting survival knife. Although, I wasn't expecting the responses of the knife having a "kitchen knife" look to it. Interesting.

Anything with a blade built like that will always have a lot of "fight" in it.
