How do you like the looks of this Izula?

It does not look like this anymore as I have forced a patina on it.....

if you like the patina, I'd keep it.
the shiny part would annoy the crap out of me...but whatever works for you, right? Either way, it's still a great knife!

“Different” isn’t a bad thing, unless you wake up covered in peanut butter and ham juice with sore nipples; so props on being the brave explorer of new horizons. Shiny blades just bug the shit out of me for the most part, I get anal about fingerprints and my eyes staring back at me while I’m looking at my knife, just me maybe, but I like the them coated.
 
I like it :thumbup::thumbup: I convexed an Izula today and then sanded off the coating and after thinking about it I'm going to strip my other Izula and my 4 and force patinas on all of them. What did you use on yours? I think I'm going to use some cider vinegar.

Like a half hour I think..:D

I think I'm going to soak it another half hour or so though,

I'd like it a little darker.

Did you find that after you stripped your Izula, that the edge kind of digs into the kydex a bit?

I had that happen when I stripped my H.E.S.T.

Looks good, btw. I hate coated blades.

Thanks for the reply.

I think I'm going to have to:

A - learn how to make kydex sheaths (which I prefer) or
B - learn how to make really nice leather sheaths (which would also be enjoyable).
