EdgePro Professional. It does all my work and does it at a fair clip. I can reprofile and have a mirror polished edge that is symetrical on both sides in about 25-30 minutes.

Cerberus :D

Man you got an edge pro? I should kick you in the nuts for not telling me sooner. My wife is making the coolest Dguard she calls it the DoubleD green and black. It's sweeet. guess I'll email you

edgepro apex, but i really, really, really wish i had gotten the professinal model.... it would have been worth every extra penny....

I guess I'm old fashioned but after I wound up smacking my BattleRat against the cement sub-flooring in my room, I just used a ceramic rod (freehand) to put the edge back on it.

i use a ceramic stick and a strop !!

I have learnt to use a 8 inch sharpening stone really well on big knives - i have this cool technique but its impossible to explain !!

Hey!

My camp tramp has chopped through many logs without loosing its sharpness. But I usually use the mousepad-wet/dry sandpaper method. If you've heard about that. Gets it hairpopping sharp and keeps the convex edge.
Just put the sandpaper on the mousepad and pull the edge in a slightly rotating movement over the paper (I've used 1000 - 1200 grit). Great method - and as I said - it becomes scary sharp. And the best part - it's easy!
I read about it here on the forums somewhere. Try it, it might work for you too.
