what do you look for in a full tang scandi?

a scandi grind...and a full tang? that's about it I'd guess..maybe good handle ergos a leather sheath, spear point, and good carbon steel

Straight back, carbon steel, single bevel, comfortable wooden handle without a guard and secure leather sheath.

Super sharp point, I like a little bit of drop point myself. Cool looking handle helps.

Check out Martin knives bushcraft classic. It is a full tang scandi grind and it is the best I've had. I look for a comfortable handle and lanyard hole as well.

Comfortable handle with no guard is key to me. I like a sharp point and the edge shouldn't be too thin.

comfy handle is up there on the importance list. And gaurdless is also very important, but, that can usually be remedied with a hacksaw. I also like to see a leather sheath, carbon steel and straight spine.

Full tang construction and a Scandi grind come to mind.

But seriously,

...getting a knife from someone like Dan Koster or Brian Andrews will hook you up.

I think someone has said it, but make sure it has a VERY sharp point, without being too delicate.

Well, a good steel, a durable handle material, handle curves that make it secure, a lanyard hole, and a sharp tip.

And you can look for the knives suggested, and poll them for common features.
