What do you think about CR-17 steel?

No experience, but if my data is right, and I think it is, Cr17 is abbreviated name of Chinese GB 1Cr17 steel, same as 10Cr17, and an equivalent of AISI 430 steel.
Highly stain resistant, but carbon in both versions (US and China) is 0.12% and there's nothing else in there that would help it. As it is, 420 would be a better performer knives.
