I'd have to say that the most important show is the NEXT ONE. Since the ones already past are already gone, the ones down the line may never happen, but the very next one always has lots of promise, tons of stuff to see, plenty to learn, stories to swap, friends to meet. Got one on my calender for next weekend, shows in my area are few and far between. Can't wait.

Only perfect practice makes perfect
Yep, the Oregon show is great! Haven't been the the other big shows yet, maybe next year.
It is sure easy to spend your money when you can compare the different knives, and even talk to some of the custom makers.
Found a knife a part time custom maker from eastern Oregon had on his table. Picked it up probably 20 times over the day. Took all of the cash I had left.
It just had that feel it was made for me.
Lucky for me I forgot my PIN number and could not get the ATM machine to work. Had to stop buying after out I ran out of cash.

What? Another knife? Don't you have enough of those things already?
How many does one person need?
And just what are you going to do with this one that you can't do with the others?
What is the purpose of all these knives anyhow??
