Well, for those that read about it in the "Whatever" thread, i knew i had reason to be concerned. the epoxy set up too soon. and, it shows in the final result. there are gaps in the paper.
i am both disappointed and encouraged. this was my first shot using the construction paper. it obviously didn't turn out great, but i think it has potential. i really like the look of it. i just need it to stay together.
in general, i think i was right that this config - the brown construction paper and steel pins - would look good together. i just need to do a better job with making the scales.
thoughts?
the color and grain are great, but you can see the voids. the "light spot" you see in the scale was a major void where it was epoxy only. too bad.
