What do you think of BK3 for B.O.B.?

After going through a number of threads on survival the other day, I have put together a couple of BOB's for my lady and myself to keep in our vehicles. Considering the sort of things that would be handy in an urban environment, I think that some sort of prybar would be ideal for access through gates/doors/etc. if need be.

I came across the EOD Breacher Bar, which got me thinking of the mighty BK3 and I'm wondering a few things:
  • How do these two tools compare to each other
  • Would a regular tool shop pry bar be more practical?
  • Can anyone on here who owns a BK3 tell me if they're good for really prying open stuff?
  • Does anyone have both?

Interested to learn more, what do you say?

I have a small EOD BB and have never used it. My -2 seems about twice as thick!! I don't know if the BB is heat treated differently however.

How much prying would you really do? How much weight do you want to carry on that possibility? Would a 6" mini-crowbar do?
