I made both of them by hand! They are made from a farriers rasp. I made the handle slabs by hand as well

I'm surprise at how symmetrical you file work is on that tang spine, Very Good work there. I like the handle scale materials and liners too, really good choice. I would say the handle shape seems to need some refinement to make them more streamline and I would have gone with a full flat on the farrier. Your first are better than my first. they will get better every time!
