Thats a pretty sweet design. I like how the blade looks pretty hefty while still having a nice useable point. Do you plan a hollow or flat grind? The handle is pretty cool too. The bolsters look a lot like victorinox' alox handles. What materials are you planning to use?

I plan on a flat grind. I really like a knife with some weight so I will use Stainless Steel with a stone wash finish and milled bolsters, the red accent will be G-10

Looks like a nice knife, other than the blade looking about 3x as thick as it needs to be. I really like the blade profile though.

An awesome looking knife, what can be said other than that?

Sidenote: what stainless steel?

Looks good.
1- I would like to add a small jimped section to the top part.
2- I would also consider adding a small choil on the bottom. This would make the user feel more secure, i know I would be happier using it.
3- Will it have a pocket clip?
4- Blade shape at the point looks like it could maybe break. Smooth out the point, make it a little more gradual and it will be perfect.

looks very nice.

that said what is a purpose of such knife? Its going to be strong, but not superior cutter, I guess that also depends on how you are going to grind it, but its still fairly thick.

Thewayits done its going to be two handed opener, so its more of gentleman's knife then a combat blade, but then the point of a really thick blade?

Also, what kind of steel?

But it looks sweet.

It's attractive. I'd need more than a nail nick though. Not knowing it's relative size anyway.

i think you should make the swedge on the top of the blade more elongated. it'd give the knife a sleeker look imo. i also think the grind looks good too, it accents the curvature of the bolster very well.

a bit thick for my taste, and i think it would need a sharpening choil. other than that... I WANT ONE:D
