I've never heard of this before. Anyone else? Here's the picture and the description.

"Buck knife with sheath. Blade is approx. 4 inches long, knife is approx. 8 1/2 inches long total. Sheath has sharpener in it. Very good condition."

I don't see a pouch for a stone??

Half of the folks selling stuff on the auction site have no idea what they are talking about. That sheath most likely has a plastic insert and the seller is assuming that the plastic is a sharpener. They probably think as it's an older knife and it's still sharp the sheath must do it, no thought that it's just never been used.

I saw this item on ebay yesterday.
I sent inquiry to this seller about the mark of steel on the blade.
He has answered -"I don t know".
What does he mean: sheath has sharpener in it?
May be he means diamond core as in Leatherman sheath.

Yeah, and it's a really lucky thing that half the buyers are just as stupid.

:D

Otherwise, those sellers would get driven off the Bay by negs pretty fast.
