What do you think of this weekends work?

I would sure like opinions on the work I did this weekend. Both knives need some finishing work on them. Top one is mirror polished 0-1 and carbon fiber, bottom one is Bruce Evans random pattern damascus and giraffe bone. Please let me know what you think.

The sleek CF one on top looks sweet. The damascus and bone looks beautiful. I really like the coloration, it looks like a knapped obsidian blade.
 
the bottom one is awesome, I like how the giraffe bone is darker in the blade than lightens and darkens again
 
I like the top piece with the CF handle. The design is sleek yet functional. Btw, what are their specs? and will they be offered to the public to be sold? Thanks.;)

Specs on these two knives are
Top one(Carbon Fiber) 4 1/4" handle, 4" blade ground from 1/8" stock tapered tang, with 1/4" flared stainless tubing for pins.
Main bevel hollow ground on 12" wheel, top is bevel is flat chisel ground

Damascus knife specs
Handle is 3.5" long
Blade is 3.5" long
ground form 1/8" stock w/tapered tang.
Main bevel hollow ground on 12" wheel, top bevel ground on 2" wheel

Both of these knives are very light. I don't have a scale, but they are the two lightest knives I have made. both have tapered and drilled tangs. Balance point on both knives is right at the finger notch. I will post more pics when they are done.

like the top one---like the handle and blade of the bottom one but not sure if I like them together. always like giraffe bone but not sure about the two colors going together(blade and handle).
 
Lacy is my girlfriend, she was saving the picture to my computer and that is what she named the file. I didn't even notice it showed up here.:) :)
 
I like them both. The top one looks like a gnarly tactical / utility / EDC. The bottom one has some funky damascus. I like the white on black theme you get with the dark etched damascus vs. the giraffe bone. Gret work. Jason.
 
Great job on both. I like the contrast on the bottom one. Very bold and unique. I like the "industrial" feel of the top knife. CF always does that. You gotta put these up in the exchange when they're done.

I think both look great, especially the top one. Very sleek. Maybe have some simple mosaic pins in the top design in the future?

Edited because I wasn't looking at the pics carefully enough. :rolleyes:
 
I like both. Looks like a lot of hardwork and talent have gone into them!! :) :)
