As anyone proposed this idea before? How cool would a Mistress-sized Tankbuster be?

Who would buy one?

I would have to see how it is executed.

I have been rooting for a Mistress sized Muk. With about 3 inches of blade from edge to spine at least. Just picture a monster sized Koster Monster Nessmuk.

I always kind of looked at the Tank Buster as a shortened Mistress anyway... different handle, obviously.

I'm with you there, or an INFI woodsman cleaver.

Interesting idea, but possibly a bit redundant unless you are specifically wanting a Tac handled mistress. My first piece of INFI is an FBM LE and ironically, the first knife I ordered direct was a matching tankbuster specifically because it looks so much like a shortened FBM with Tac handles. So call me crazy but basically, we already have a tankbuster mistress in the saber ground FBM's. Now a SAR 10 matched with a SAR 6 is what I would like to see next. Just think of the number of matching pair combos that would fly out of the shop if that was done! :D

The FBM is not that similar to the Tankbuster. Handle differences aside, the Tankbuster has a much more pronounced and upswept clip point, or maybe spearish point is more like it. And it has more pronounced "valleys" on the spine. I consider the Tankbuster to be very similar in blade shape to the Chris Reeve Umnumzaan, hollow grind on the latter notwithstanding.

Instead of saying a Mistress-sized Tankbuster, maybe I should have said a Fusion Mistress with the blade shape, grinds, and proportions of a Tankbuster.

Such a creature would be MUCH different than an actual FBM.
