I bought these awhile back and everything in the thread is what I was told buy a sword dealer. I dont get into swords but know a little. Is what I wrote/he said accurate?

Accurate by what standard? If you are just repeating what a dealer listed them as, that is an accurate statement. These look much more recently made than the sixties and flood Ebay. In my opinion, the offer might be regarded as a high ceiling. If you are seeing these actually selling at $300, they are not getting much of a deal. These are souvenir trinkets and are put together accordingly. Wholesale value a lot less than one might think.

Buy and sell the items, not the stories. What you may have bought them as was a story.

I suspect that the dealer sold you a story. The swords look very much like some that a company called anorak or anarak or something similar sold a few years back. They were rather poorly made. I bought one that was nearly identical for 50 dollars and think I overpaid for it.
