Great forum!
I have been visiting this forum for about two weeks, and I’m truly
addicted. Anyway, I want to upgrade my EDC knife collection and I am
considering the following: New or used. What do you think?

Spyderco Sage II (Ti) Frame lock
Bradley Alais II
Al Mar Mini SERE 2000
Hogue Medium Tactical Drop Point Folder
Caswell’s Modello Flame EDC Knife - If I can find one for a reasonable price.
Zero Tolerance 350
JB Burk Knives Rockstar
DPX Gear Hest Folder 2.0
Hand-Tech-Made (HTM) Gunhammer
Small Sebenza 21
Different uses - I know, but...And, like many of you, I will not be able to control myself, so I will be acquiring several from the list over the next several months…

For this general style and level of purchase, I am very open to other
suggestions or trades from my current collection: Cold Steel Spector,
Mcusta Ninja Series and Damascus Tactility, Boker Speed Lock T4, and Kalashnikov
(both can be made Auto), SOG Flash II (tiger striped), Timberline Discovery, and several CRKTs. Thanks!

Welcome to the sickness Mr. Duke! You great taste for your future ECD knives. I am pretty much a CRK Small Sebenza and Ti-Lock carrier, but also like to mix it up once in a while and carry an HTM Gunhammer and Lion Steel Ti SR-1 if I feel like carrying a bigger knife. Also like the BM Shoki 480-1 for travel.

The Bardley Alias and Alias 2 are great Sebenza copies. Good quality, but not quite as precision fit and feel as CRK Sebenzas. Excellent inexpensive alternative!

Hogue makes an extremely well built knife and they don't get near enough attention as they deserve, I'd stay away from that hest 2.0 I've had 2 and both were complete garbage, I sent them both in for brand new ones because the TI was so soft it would actually deform, so after recieving 2 brand new knives I promptly sold and traded them off. The zt 0350 is also a very good knife, It's one of my favorites but gets little pocket time know because of his big brother. All and all your just gonna hafta buy sell and trade enough knives until you find that 1 or 30 knives that suit you best. The most fun is searching for that be all end all knives that makes you stop buying knives because it's so great you have no need to ever buy another knife again, I been searching for that knife and about 10 years and way way to much money later, I still haven't found it :) Happy hunting though

After your comments and a little research - Nuff said. The Hest is "off the list." Cool tool though. Thanks! By the way - Nice Sprint Run you have up.
