What do you use for a remote power source?

That's nice, but what is it's output? What does it cost? I use a gasoline powered generator.

The output is low compared to a gas powered generator, which I've used a number extensively. I liked the Honda EU 2000 the most.

I want to say that it ran about $160. Mostly, I like the portability and long term cost savings when compared to a generator. Also, it's completely silent and we like to "camp" in locations where we prefer to keep our presence a secret.

My watch battery lasts for years, and I carry spare batteries for the camera and GPS. I can go several weeks without needing to charge or power anything.

I hear that, Bob, but II have greater power needs than you.

Wwe are literally using the Yeti 150 to light our abode, whatever or wherever it may be, and to keep laptops and a mobile Hotspot charged for my wife's online schooling. Once schools over, I don't think we'll use it much anymore but that's years away.

Yeah, especially if in a cabin or large family tent long-term, I'd want some kind of electronics. Music player, laptop for writing, etc.
