What do you use to sharpen your Sebenza?

I just want to know what systems and techniques you use for sharpening your sebby.
Thanks!

From the FAQ, has worked for me: "Sebenzas are sharpened at 19-20 degrees. We recommend the Spyderco Sharpmaker because it is so easy to use. ...." -Anne Reeve, 10/19/98 Thread below.

My sebbies are too new to have needed it yet...but I will use the same thing I use for the others - DMT Diamond Aligner Kit, followed by a leather strop loaded with Flitz or Happich Simichrome polishing paste.

Edgepro professional. Ever cut a hair, without touching your skin ??

I use the Triangle Sharpmaker from Spyderco, and usually only the white stones dependent upon my level of "dullness." Then I turn my solid leather belt to its backside (rougher side), step on the buckle with my right foot, and strop the blade thoroughly on both sides to achieve perhaps the sharpest edge I own.

BG42 is good stuff!

Professor.

I guess the factory edge on the Sebenza is convex?
Anyway, I've used the Edge-Pro. Slightly lower angle and most importantly I can maintain that myself :)

Does anyone use the lansky system?
I am just asking because I have one and I think the 20 degree angle would work well. I know the spyderco system is the best, but I really like the lansky better. Will it work?

My DMT Diamond Aligner Kit is DMT's version of the lansky kit. I like DMT 'stones' better...

My large and small Classics get the Sharpmaker 204 and strop treatment and the wood inlay gets sent back for sharpening because I don't want to upset the perfect edge on it. It's my dress knife so it hardly gets used. Eyecandy mostly.

8" Spyderco ceramic benchstones. I have both the new and old style Sharpmakers too, but I seem to do much better with benchstones... heck been doing it that way for well over 30 years!
